We currently have an opportunity for a Bell Services Dispatcher in our Lenox, MA location.

Scope: This position is primarily responsible for assisting and directing guests upon arrival and departure, including luggage delivery and pick up, valeting of cars, and providing exceptional customer service.  This position arranges for any other deliveries guests may require such as prescription drugs, packages, and more.  This position must have excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Organizes and directs bell services efficiently including luggage delivery, luggage pickup, valeting of cars, and assisting with the execution of transportation duties as needed. Supervise the operations of the bell service process and provide feedback to management.

  • Maintains and updates a daily log sheet for luggage pickup and delivery; room changes; guest-requested rides; deliveries including flowers, federal express mail, faxes and other related deliveries from departments as requested. 

  • Assist bell person with guest arrival and departures, including luggage delivery, luggage pickup, and valet parking of vehicles.

  • Accesses daily reports from Opera to create a daily arrival and departure schedule for the guests and for the Bell Staff transportation services.


Qualifications/ Requirements: 


  • At least one-year experience as a bell/transportation attendant in a comparable hospitality facility.

  • Previous experience in a resort setting preferred.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel and Outlook in particular.

  • Must be physically able to lift or move guest luggage.

  • Must possess effective written and verbal communications skills.

  • Must have excellent customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of the Berkshires desired.

  • Must be able to operate a vehicle with standard shift transmission.

  • Must be flexible with schedule to meet departmental needs.

  • Must have the ability to work with a diverse team.



  • Must be 21 years of age with at least 2 years of licensed driving experience, have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record


  • High school diploma
