This position is responsible for researching issues, analyzing data, designing & developing solutions, documenting systems & applications, and generating ad-hoc reports as assigned by the department manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research support tickets
Create and maintain design, system, and support documentation
Write queries and create ad-hoc reports via Access, Excel, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, and data warehouse
Perform the necessary research, analysis, and development associated with assignments
Manage and participate in all phases of an assignment
Maintain good communications and relationships with all assignment participants
Report assignment statuses to department manager
Support and integrate third party vendor solutions
Become knowledgeable of the different systems and applications while relying on guidance from peers, the department manager, and own experience to progress and accomplish goals
Complete assignments on-time and within budget while adhering to all department policies and procedures
Bachelor’s degree required. Certifications in related field preferred.
0 to 3 years of work experience related to application development
Very detailed and task oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
Self-motivated with the ability to learn and apply concepts quickly
Sharp analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to interact and work effectively in a team environment
Knowledgeable and competent with application development and software development life cycle
Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures associated with the IT industry
Strong verbal and written skills.
Competent in one or more programming languages
Minimal travel to branch network and/or training facility may be necessary
